Today’s Race Definitely Had the Big One

Pocono RacewayIn case you missed it, and know little more about today’s Sprint Cup race at Pocono than Dale Earnhardt, Jr. won his third, the race definitely had “the big one” — a crash that collected lots of cars, and killed a lot of driver’s hope for a win at Pocono.

But even before the big one, some big names like Jimmie Johnson and Kyle Busch had already retired to the garage.

Better than trying to describe the late race big crash, it’s better to see it for yourself below. We were a little concerned for Paul Menard and Tony Stewart after the crash, but eventually both were untangled and emerged from their cars.

Congrats to Junior for sweeping at Pocono in the 2014 races and Jeff Gordon for being the first driver to amass 1000 laps led at the Tricky Triangle.
