2019 Roval Marks Milestone for Wood Brothers

The majority of the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series schedule is composed of oval tracks and races. Road-course races make up a very small schedule, with this weekend’s race representing just the third road course of the 2019 season, as well as a cutoff race for the 2019 playoffs. When Paul Menard and the No. 21 Motorcraft/Quick Lane team take the green flag for the Bank of America Roval 400 at Charlotte Motor Speedway it will be the team’s 100th Cup start on a road course.

Menard, No. 21 Honoring American Racing Hero at Kentucky

The Wood Brothers No. 21 Ford, driven by Paul Menard will be honoring an American racing hero throughout the weekend and in the Quaker State 400 at Kentucky Speedway. The Quaker State-sponsored Ford Mustang will carry a paint scheme reminiscent of the Quaker State colors that appeared on the No. 11 World of Outlaws sprint car driven by Steve Kinser in 2005, the year he won his 20th series championship.
