Panini America announced today on their official blog, The Knight’s Lance that the trading card manufacturer is releasing four NASCAR-related products in 2016.
NASCAR Trading Cards 2016
The sport trading card company’s NASCAR offerings mark a return of a trading card for race fans after trading card manufacturer, Press Pass ceased making racing-related cards last year.
The first line of officially licensed trading cards, available today, encompasses teams and drivers across the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series™, NASCAR XFINITY Series™ and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series™.
Through this multi-year agreement, NASCAR Team Properties and Panini will deliver high-quality trading card products each year. NASCAR trading cards are available at Walmart, Target and hobby stores nationwide in addition to the Fanatics Trackside Superstore and NASCAR.com Superstore.
The initial four NASCAR-related card products to be released include:
2016 Panini Prizm NASCAR – Available now
2016 Panini Torque NASCAR – Early September 2016
2016 Panini Certified NASCAR – Early October 2016
2016 Panini National Treasures NASCAR – Early November 2016
The initial offering, called Prizm NASCAR is described on Panini’s online store as including 4 cards per package. A single case includes 20 packs, which average 1 autograph and two memorabilia cards.
Panini describes the 2016 Prizm NASCAR series as the following:
Racing cards are back and better than ever with Panini’s amazing Prizm technology that has captivated collectors in other sports since its debut.
Chase the rainbow, with 9 different Prizm parallels to collect. Eight of these are numbered to 149 or less.
Look to find at least 3 numbered prizms in every box.
Look for autographs from your favorite racers such as Kevin Harvick, Jimmie Johnson, Danica Patrick, Dale Earnhardt Jr., and more.
The NASCAR trading cards are available at Walmart, Target, along with hobby stores nationwide. The products will additionally be available at Fanatics Trackside and NASCAR.com Superstores.
