Martinsville Speedway Announces New Seating Area

Martinsville Speedway announced via their social accounts and email a new location for fans to view Martinsville Speedway races — the Martinsville Speedway Skydeck.

Built and setup for the fall 2018 race weekend, Martinsville Speedway’s SkyDeck combines a panoramic high view of the paperclip-shaped track, with a limited and exclusive ticket package.

Pricing and Configuration

The SkyDeck Experience costs $375 per person (and are non-transferrable), and includes admission to Saturday’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Texas Roadhouse 200 Playoff race and Sunday’s Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series First Data 500 Playoff race.

“The drink rail, situated high above Turns 1 and 2 overlooking historic Martinsville Speedway, will offer one of the best views not just in NASCAR, but all of sports,” Martinsville Speedway press release said.

The Martinsville Speedway SkyDeck also has a lounge area has high-top tables, bar stools, and sofa seating — with televisions to supplement the live panoramic view of the track. The drink rail is standing only.

Food and Drink

Martinsville Speedway 04-02-2017Various food on a rotating buffet will be available, including Martinsville Speedway’s famous hot dogs, hamburger sliders, BBQ sliders, a taco bar, wings, chips and dip, and other food items are included, as well as four free drink tickets per day (8 total).

A cash bar with beer and wine will also be available throughout the two race days.

Other Package Inclusions

The SkyDeck experience also includes a general admission grandstand ticket to the Texas Roadhouse 200 and an Old Dominion Tower ticket for the First Data 500, elevator access, private restroom facilities, pit admission on Sunday (for ages 18 and older).

Tickets are limited, so Martinsville Speedway urges interested fans and groups to act quickly leading up to the fall race weekend. Tickets can be purchased via the track’s web site.

The race weekend consisting of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Texas Roadhouse 200 Playoff race and Sunday’s Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series First Data 500 Playoff race will be on October 27 and 28, 2018.
