As had been rumored for awhile, the No. 24 of Jeff Gordon will have Panasonic as its primary sponsor for a few races. Gordon, the current Sprint Cup points leader will have the Panasonic brand on his car this weekend at the Sonoma Raceway’s road race and again at the end of August at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
Jeff Gordon Panasonic Sponsorship
Though Panasonic has been a technology partner for the Hendrick Motorsports teams for seven years, Sonoma will mark the first time Panasonic appears as part of a paint scheme. Going forward, the No. 24 will have Panasonic as the primary sponsor for a pair of races each year, with the Panasonic serving as an associate-level partner in all other races on the Sprint Cup calendar. The agreement covers the 2014, 2015 and 2016 NASCAR seasons.
