As Jeff Gordon’s time in the No. 24 winds down, details are starting to be revealed for Chase Elliott’s full-time debut in the No. 24 for the 2016 season.
On Monday, October 19 at 6pm ET, Chase Elliott will reveal his 2016 No. 24 NAPA Auto Parts Chevy paint scheme on Fox Sports 1’s NASCAR Race Hub, simultaneously being broadcast in New York City’s Times Square on Fox’s video screen.
The NAPA paint scheme will make its race debut at the 2016 running of the Daytona 500.
2015 marked the return of NAPA auto parts to the NASCAR Sprint Cup, sponsoring Chase Elliott’s five appearances in the Cup series in the No. 25. NAPA had previously left the series after the Michael Waltrip Racing incident at Richmond in the fall of 2013. NAPA had had a long-standing relationship with MWR teams, but has since had a relationship with JR Motorsports and Hendrick Motorsports.
